David Rycroft adopts the triptych format to create an overal sense of structure and rhythmn within which the sweeping colours unfold. The newest triptychs are partly inspired by the Japanese screens of Maruyama Okyo and Sakai Hoitsu.

More triptychs will appear in December 2010.
